Planting

This is where all the planning and preparation evolves into reality.

And the real fun starts!

Planting is usually one of the last things to happen in the process.

Following the plan as a template (if there is one), Kay will place the potted plants out in the spaces requiring planting, to assess the overall look and make any changes.

Potts & Plants always use organic compost and Blood, Fish & Bone that is mixed with the excavated soil to add nutrients when planting. Trees, large shrubs and certain plants can require specific nutrients dependent on their species, size, the soil type and situation, so other composts may be recommended.

Dependent on the size of your garden and what is being planted will determine how long the job will take.

Mulching or a fine composted woodchip may be recommended, to finish off the borders and provide a low maintenance solution to the prevention of weeds growing.
